Made to Move Barbies-Wave 2 :)

Hi everyone!
I just wanted to let you know that it looks like next wave of Made to Move Barbies are now showing up on Amazon.  I haven't seen them in stores yet, so I'm not sure if they are physically showing up, but you can definitely find them on Amazon for their normal prices of $14.99.

Here is the link for the redhead.
Here is the link for the blonde.

I ordered one of each, of course. :)
They are so pretty!  I am also overwhelmed with all the new Fashionistas that came out and will slowly be adding a few more of those to my collection.
Hopefully photos to follow soon!
Have a great weekend. xo

  3. Hello! I'm very excited for the redhead one, however, I'm probably going to wait until she's on Amazon Spain, because with the shipping she'll be very expensive. If the shippin wasn't so high I wouldn't mind helping you out.

    Cheers!

  4. I'm glad Mattel are making more dolls in this line - and these look beautiful. I thought they might have just focused on the new Fashionista line. Now we just need a Made to Move Ken.

  5. These two are so pretty, I wonder if we'll get them here in Spain? I ended up buying some of the first wave of them and I also bought one of the Fashionista ones...if they are the ones with all the different shaped bodies? I blame you of course LOL ;)
I might have to investigate these two new ones though as I really like their faces. Thank you for sharing.
    Big hugs xxx

    1. Haha! Sorry to be an instigator in more doll purchases! I totally blame blogs, Flickr and Instagram for all of the money I have spend as well. :)
Big hugs to you as well xo

  6. I'm usually partial to redheads, but this time I prefer the blonde. She looks like Farrah Fawcett Majors and Nellie Olesen from Little House on the Prairie had a baby together.

    1. Hey Muff...great comparison! I think I might even name that blonde one Farrah after you wrote that (my real name is not Farrah so it wouldn't be weird.) :)

    1. I couldn't resist. :) Barb, are you planning on getting the new EAH dolls?

    2. I have my eye on Epic Winter Apple (for a head swap) and Signature Nina Thumbell. Those are my main goals for the new line right now. I'm debating about Epic Winter Maddie and Ashlynn. Did you see any that interested you?

    3. I think the Epic Winter line dolls are really cute, but I haven't seen them in person yet. As of now, I'm not sure that I will be getting any of them, but Blondie and Briar would be my favorites. I definitely am looking forward to Nina, Jillian Beanstalk and Meeshell, though. :)

  8. They look very pretty Farrah, but Barbie is and has never been a doll for me. In saying that I still enjoy looking at them, so thanks for sharing the photos.

  11. Hi Farrah Lily! I am so happy you're excited about the Hearts For Hearts Relaunch. My friend Hagit is now designing two Hearts For Hearts Dolls: one from Lithuania and one from Ukraine. She just has to speak with the designer so they can discuss the idea. Also, what countries are you excited to see in the line?

  12. Love seeing that more of these are coming out! I wonder if I might need that tan blonde one to take along on holiday for some jokey "beach bum"-type shots... ;)

  13. They are both really pretty and I couldn't help but think how reasonably priced they are. I wonder how they will hold up to heavy doll play from kids?

    1. Yup, they seem to so far! They feel heavier than the cheap, plastic non-articulated fashionistas that they have, which is a good thing! I'd be concerned with some of their joints possibly becoming loose though over time with heavy play...

  14. I got tbe blonde and loved her darker skin tone with blonde hair. There needs to be more of that kind of thing going on. I have high hopes with the fashionistas that there will be more variety.

As for made to move Ken-two great options are the divergent Four Doll who has a large back tattoo, or Texas University Which is basically the same doll minus tattoo. Both are gorgeous and articulated. Not the same as made to move but still well articulated.

    1. Hi ButtonsAmy,
Yes, you're are totally right about the Four Doll. He's on my wish list for that very reason! I wonder if he would survive a head swap? I have two Kens that are cute, but with stiff bodies that I would love to trade them with...
