Holiday Barbie 2010 - Happy Dolliday Countdown to Christmas!

Hi everyone!
This is the 3rd post today and I'm sorry!  Just trying to make up for lost time, haha.  In this post, we're taking a look at the lovely Holiday Barbie from 2010.  She's so cute!

This particular year, they only came out with one other version that I could find.  It's the African American one with the lovely Goddess face sculpt.  So pretty!!

Just look at this gorgeous Barbie in her gorgeous gown! She has a beautiful red shawl, a bodice with red and gold embroidery, and a curly ribbon that hangs down in the front onto a multilayered white skirt.

In this close-up photo, you can see some of the beautiful embroidered detail on her bodice.

Her's a close up look at her earrings.  Unfortunately, the other one broke off inside of her ear due to deterioration, so I have to glue it back on. :(. She also has a matching gold headband with the "ruby" gems.

She has the gorgeous Mackie face sculpt.  Her face paint is beautifully done and she looks really elegant.

Overall, we have another winner in my book! I love her beautiful, elegant, festive vibes.  She reminds me a little of the Grace Kelly Barbies.  I love her accessories, embroidered bodice and white, red and gold themed dress.

I love her!

What do you guys thing? Do any of you have her?

I just love opening and looking at all of these holiday Barbies.  It was one of my collecting goals this year to collect them all and I'm so glad I did.  Now we are starting to get into the really nice, well-made ones, in my opinion, as we work our way all the way back to 1988!

  1. Oh wow! You have at least one from each year, if I understand correctly? Congrats! I can't wait to see them all.

  2. I got the blond version secondhand, missing her shawl. I had to remove the red ribbon bow at her waist because the dangling ends were staining some of my other dolls that I had near her. Not colorfast, apparently. The ribbon on mine did feel very stiff, like maybe it had too much dye in it or something. Have you had any problems like this with yours?

    1. Hi Treesa, I'm sorry to hear about the problems with your doll. I haven't noticed any with mine yet, but I'm getting ready to take them all down, off of my shelf and put them in storage, so I'll pay attention for next Christmas season when I get them back out again!
