Hi everyone :)
I hope you guys and gals were all able to peek at the moon tonight. It was first lunar eclipse I've managed to remember to go outside for in ages!
I'm off to bed, but I wanted to share these two photos I took as it was just so beautiful.
I sat outside on a blanket with a cup of apple spice tea and two microwaved s'mores (ha!) along with my cat and watched the eclipse. It was so peaceful and amazing to look at.
Hope you have a good day/night where ever you are!
Farrah xoxo

Oh drat, I forgot all about it. I was encouraging Daughter 2, the Dancer, to finish up her math homework. I remember watching an eclipse with my daughters many years ago, when we were homeschooling.
ReplyDeleteI hear you, Barb...I usually ALWAYS forget to go out and look. I happened to see something on the internet literally 30 minutes before it started and that was the only reason I caught it! :)
DeleteCool!!!! No, I didn't manage to stay awake late enough. Your pics turned out great though. I only have some pics of the Northern Lights from a while back. It was kind of funny, I had been in the basement and as I came upstairs, I could see this strange thing in the sky out the window, then it dawned on me what it was. We did get to see Hale Bopp quite a few times, but no pics. I love stuff like that, but W PA has such heavy cloud cover so often, many times we miss out.
ReplyDeleteWow, Flo, I've never seen the Northern Lights, I bet it was amazing! I had to force myself to go to bed...I wanted to stay up and photograph the rest of it, but couldn't, unfortunately!
DeleteHello Farrah Lily,

ReplyDeleteThanks, Linda..I really did have a good time! It was really chilly though. :)
DeleteIt was super beautiful last night! I went outside to see it with my neighbors! I attempted to take a picture of it.......... But I failed, It looked like a little golden smear lol!
ReplyDeleteLol, too funny Halo :) I'm glad you got to see it!
DeleteI was travelling and missed it, so I'm especially happy to see photos - and these are fabulous! Nice work capturing it so clearly!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, jSarie! I hope you had a nice vacation!
DeleteBeautiful photos Farrah, I enjoyed seeing them because I am afraid that I forgot to go and look.....doh!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you were able to get these and share them with us, thank you very much!

You're welcome, Sharon! I am usually always the one that is forgetful when it comes to eclipses to be honest, I didn't even realize it was happening until about an hour before it started. :)
DeleteThanks for sharing your photos. The southern hemisphere didn't get the blood moon this time so we've had to make do with photos from your side of the world. We got a beautiful super moon though.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome! I figured it wasn't visible to everyone so I wanted to share as we got really lucky with a nice clear sky. I'm glad you got to at least enjoy the super moon. :)
