August Doll Haul :)

Hi everyone!  Happy Friday.
So glad.
I hope you are all doing well in your neck of the woods.
We had a good rain yesterday for the first time in ages.
I fell asleep to the sound of the rain and it was so soothing.
Cozy!
Sometimes I really like rain because it gives you an excuse to just stay inside and relax.
Or clean.
Or do some organizing.
Or do some crafting/sewing/reading.
All of which need to happen at our house!

Here's a video showing last month's doll haul.
Little Button and Pumpkin Pie help out with naming a few characters in the end so if you want to hear their pip squeak little voices click on the video below! :)

  1. So many fun things, whoo hoo!!! LOL at the red card, I've decided it's probably a good thing we don't have one.

We need rain desperately, hoping we get it overnight. If nothing else just to clear the ragweed pollen, it's terrible.

    1. Thanks for watching, Flo! I hear you about the ragweed it's been terrible here as well...I'm pretty sure that may have been coughing and congested for pretty much the whole week of August!

  2. When I see the OG dolls and clothing, it makes me wish sometimes that I collected them! However, my 1:6 scale little people have definitely taken over the house, so there is no room for the larger dolls! I love your daughters' little voices. I will tell you that they just grow up too fast, so cherish these times with them.

    1. Thanks for watching, Phyllis, you are so good at keeping your collection to the 1:6 gals. They are easier to store! My 16inch doll collection is getting a bit large and recently I ended up placing them all in storage bins as I just don't have the shelving to display them. I actually prefer OG accessories and clothing to American Girl as they are cuter AND less expensive! I particularly have a soft spot for the Retro line. :)
These little kids really do grow up so fast and I love capturing their voices on camera because they seem to change even in just 6 months time!

  4. That's a solid haul for the month! I totally relate to the draw of the blind bags - they always draw me in as well.

    1. They sure do...I find that once I get the first batch, I'm reluctant to go back for more, though as I don't want to get any doubles-it feels wasteful. The nice thing about the ponies is that they have that clear little space at the top that you can sort of cheat a bit. :)

    1. Thanks, Linda! It was so nice to have some rain here. Next week it's supposed to be hot for a few days, but that might be it. I'm going to try to enjoy it as much as I can as autumn will "technically" begin the following week! xo
