Crocheting with Ingrid: Valentine Hearts

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!  Ingrid (Karito Kids Zoey doll) wanted to show you our crochet hearts we made in order to increase the festive vibe around here.
I don't really decorate at all for Valentine's Day, so I wanted to add a little something just for fun.

Ingrid is our crochet addict...she just learned so this was the perfect little project to get started.  ;)
It was a fun and easy and adds a cute touch to the family room.
The girls made some cute Valentine's at the library...very vintage looking!

I hope you all have a wonderful Valentine's Day spending the day with your partners, family, kids or indulging yourself.  I'm going to go get more chocolate right now! :)

Xoxo Farrah

  7. Those crocheted hearts are so pretty and very festive. I think they'd look lovely in white too...maybe something I could make for my son's wedding!
Your Karito Kid is very nice, and obviously very clever too, doing all that crocheting for you ;)
The girls' St Valentine's cards are very old fashioned looking, what a great idea.
Hope you enjoyed your chocolate :)

    1. Hi Zen Dolls,
Ingrid is a Karito Kids doll called Zoey. Sadly, they no longer produce this line of dolls, but you can find her on sites like eBay or possibly a thrift store!

  13. What fun to have Ingrid helping out with your Valentine's Day decor. She has done a wonderful job of crocheting the pretty red hearts banner. Ingrid is just stunning! Her hair is totally gorgeous. How do you care for her hair? I acquired a Zoe doll recently (without clothes)from Ebay. Her hair is pretty but not very shiny or manageable. I am in the process of making clothes for her before I show her on my blog.

    1. Hi Candy! Congrats on your new Zoe! I know what you mean about the hair. My Zoe has very dry and dull hair. I ended up just brushing it out, section by section and then finger curling it. Eventually I want to try to wash it or do a "Downy dunk" and see if that makes it softer or shiner.
