Little Marie-Grace and the Lillies of the Valley (American Girl Mini Doll)

Hi everyone!
Thank you so much for your amazing and kind feedback on my "Messy Doll Room" post.  Your support and advice means so much to me!
The only change I've done so far is get rid of the couch, added a white bookshelf, cleaned up the floors and bought some white paint to brighten up the room.

As the weather warms up (we're having a terribly chilly spring so far!) I hope to get the walls painted before I start setting up shelves. :)
I'll keep you all posted!

A few years ago, I picked up mini Marie-Grace from the American Girl doll line.  She was one of my first mini dolls and I have always loved the 18 inch version of her, but she was retired by the time my AG radar was turned on so I don't currently own her.

I really enjoy these mini dolls because they're so easy to cart along for on-the-go photo shoots.
I love how they are tiny little replicas of their larger doll counterparts.

Her hair is extremely soft and silky.  I love the tiny braids.

She looks super cute in her forest of lilys-of-the-valley.

These tiny little flowers smell SO GOOD!

Do any of you have Marie Grace or any other AG minis?
One of my favorite Instagram accounts that has a lot of AG mini photography is: @pawsonkeys

On another note, after 6 months of winter, I am in love with all of this GREEN. :)

Hope you all have a wonderful rest of your week. My brother and sister-in-law are visiting from Florida with their 2 month old baby (my first nephew!) this week so I'm excited to get my "baby-fix".  The girls are very excited to meet their new cousin. :)

Until next time!
xoxo Farrah :)

  1. Hello Farrah,
She is a very lovely doll. I really like her outfit. She is quite well detailed for such a small scale doll.
Have fun with your new nephew.
    Big hug

  2. I have several AG minis, and I really like them. Although I love my two AG dolls, the minis are much easier to display and do dioramas with.

I love your lilies-of-the-valley! I've tried to grow some a couple of times but have never been able to get them to "take." I hope you have a fun weekend.

    1. Yes, the minis are much easier! We got lucky with the flowers as they were here before we moved in. They are one of the few hard shade plants that do well, besides the hostas that we have on the front of the house.
I hope you have a great weekend as well!

  6. Such fun pics! She is so cute, and yes, lily of the valley smells wonderful. My grandmother used to grow them, I remember that smell so clearly.

  7. Yes, Grace is a cutie! I do have one of her too. I have several AG Minis as well as Lori, and OG minis too. I like this scale to mix in with my other 1:6 scale dolls as kids for them. We only have one 18 in AG which was the Asian one from the 1990's.

Beautiful photos -- I love the lillies of the valley too!

    1. I love that you use the AG minis as kids in your stories because they work so perfectly in that scale! I especially love your little Kaya. That's great you were able to get the 90s Asian AG doll as she seems to be pretty rare these days. She's a keeper for sure. I'm glad you liked the photos!

  8. I do like these tiny little AGs, I wouldn't mind getting one with the full vinyl body that I think some of them have. I like to take a small doll with me for photo shoots as they are so easy to carry about!
These are the sweetest little photos, the colours are beautiful too :)
    Hugs x

  9. Hi Farrah,
I have lots of dolls, but alas no AG's at all mini or otherwise. I do have quite a few small dolls though so I have plenty to pop in a pocket, I just forget to do it!! LOL!
Thoroughly enjoyed these photos though, especially the last one with puss, so cute.
    Hugs,
    X

  10. I really enjoy the AG mini dolls - in some ways even more than the 18" ones!

I love these photos with the contrasting greens and pinks, but the focus in the second one makes that one really stand out. Nice work! :)

    1. Thanks so much, jSarie!! I didn't plan the color scheme at all, but it seemed to work out so nicely! :) I like the minis a little better too...much easier to take photos of!
