Just a quick Hello and some Updates :)

Hey everyone!
I hope you're all doing well and having a great rest of your summer (or winter, wherever you are!)
I just wanted to pop in real quickly and say hi.  I've gotten a bit behind on blogging this summer because, as it turns out, my computer completely ran out of space to upload any more photos!
I've spent the month of August backing up thousands of photos (probably more like hundreds, but it feels like thousands, lol) to Flickr and trying to figure out a good storage system for all of the video I've taken since the girls were born.
And it's a lot!

So I forced myself to undergo this project to get my photos and videos all backed up in case anything ever happened to my computer and I lost them all.
The end is in sight and I've been considering using the M-disc system, so hoping to get a driver and the discs soon, which will allow me to get a lot of photos and videos off the computer so I have more room to start fresh.

I've also been pretty busy with helping my sister plan for her wedding next month and just taking time to enjoy the beautiful weather.

I've collected some really fun new dolls these past two months, which I'm so excited to do reviews on once I am all sorted out.

We also had a great vacation in Long Lake again this year, which I'm current editing through the photos for, which should be ready for a post soon.

More about this guy later. :)

Anyway, just wanted to let you all know I'm alive and doing well. :)
I've been enjoying all of your posts and reviews.

For those of you that have Instagram accounts, I wanted to let you know that I have several different ones if you're interested in following. I've been posting a lot of photos on there for now. :) Instagram recently made it easy to create and switch back and forth to multiple accounts.

My main one for mostly Monster High and Ever After High (and some Carebears/MLP) is:  @farrahli
American Girl, Hearts for Hearts, and other larger dolls is: @farrahli2
Disney dolls and merch is: @farrahlidisney
Barbie and other 12 inch dolls is: @farrahlibabs
My 80s toy/doll collection is:  @farrahli80s

I know, it's a bit excessive, but I am obsessed with Instagram. I love taking photos!
I haven't been posting anything on Youtube lately, but hope to soon and that is under: Farrah Lily

Some stuff I got in July, that I will never get around to filming, lol.

Well, I hope you're all doing well and hope to get back to posting soon.
I'm glad to be taking the time to get my family photos/videos in order though, for now as they are so priceless to me, it was kind of stupid not to have them backed up. :)
Talk to you all soon!!
xo
My sister had her bachelorette party a few weeks ago. :):)

  1. Hello Farrah Lily,
It might take a long time and be a tedious thing to do, but backing up all those memories is so important. Good for you!
    Big hug

    2. That's so true - I lost several years worth of photos when my computer crashed in 2008, and I'm still complaining about it today - definitely a worthy project! :)

    3. Ugh, sorry to hear! Yeah, it happened to me in 2007ish and I lost a bunch. Luckily, digital photography was still sort of new to me so it wasn't a ton, but still...I miss those photos! (still complaining too, lol) :)

    1. Thanks, monstercrafts! No, I actually bought that little chair and I was going to get another one to use for a give-away, but they were gone when I went back!

  3. Hi Farrah,
I am with you on this one. I had photos on my old computer that I lost when it ceased up, so I learnt a lesson there. I have also been organising photos, and have created seperate albums for a good proportion of my dolls on Flickr. Once it's all done it makes it so much easier to find them when you need them.

Congrats on all the new arrivals!
    Hugs,
    X

    1. Hi X,
I'm sorry to hear you lost photos too...it's so sad when they are just gone. That is great that you are organizing your photos as well. I love Flickr and it's so nice to just find the right album you want. Good luck and thank you!
      Hugs back!

  5. Hello Farrah Lily! Just like you, I like the new doll with medium skin and the Josefina Mold which is Truly Me #66. #66 looks like me!

BTW, my friend Hagit is making another Hearts 4 Hearts Doll. This time, it's a doll from Ukraine! Ukraine really deserves to be represented because it is under a state of war.

The Ukrainian Doll's name is Alyona. She has curly blonde hair, silvery gray eyes, a light skin tone, and Dell's face mold. Hagit had to make the eyes silver because Alyona is blind. So, Alyona is the first ever special needs doll in the H4H Line!

Alyona's outfit consists of a blue bell-sleeve blouse, a white lace dress, diamond-knit stockings, and red flat shoes. The accessories consist of a suede bracelet, sunflower earrings, and a flower crown. The doll also comes with a girl-sized flower crown!

Alyona's bracelet charm is royal blue and the box color is cyan.

If Alyona was released, would you buy her?

    1. Hi Joanne!
I totally love the new AG TM #66. She's so gorgeous! I hope you get her (and I hope I do too!) As for the H4H doll your friend Hagit is making...she sounds wonderful and yes I would buy her. Hope you're doing well. Did you ever find your Lauryce doll?
      :)

    2. Hi Farrah Lily, no Lauryce yet. :(

BTW, I have an update regarding Rūta, the Lithuanian Doll! Hagit says that she will help me design Rūta. We will just make a few changes to the doll to make the outfit more culturally appropriate. Also, Hagit will write the doll's story with me!
