Hey lovelies! First of all, I wanted to say thank you so much for all of you. I have received a few new followers to the blog this week, and it is so nice of you to add me to your reading list :) I appreciate each and every one of you!
While I am trying to finish editing my next post (Ever After High Hat-Tastic Cerise Hood) I thought I would share a few photos of the big snowstorm that hit our area on Monday.
We've also had a bunch of calves born over the past few weeks and they are so tiny and brand new, I wanted to also share their fuzzy little faces.
At the end of the post is a quick video I made yesterday, on a walk I took during my lunch break, of two babies that came over to say hi. If you look towards the back, you can see a little white one prancing around in the snow and it just totally made my day. :)
Aww, the calves are so cute! I love the part in the video where it appears that mama cow is calling her baby back! We also got hit by a big snowstorm Sunday and Monday and it even snowed last night too. The were over 900 school, university, daycare and libraries closed on Monday! On Tuesday, we didn't have school again along with about 680 other schools. Schools are open today.
ReplyDeleteWow! I can't believe that many schools were closed. Ours were all closed on Monday as well and Tuesday they had a 2 hour delay, which was nice to have a "sleep-in". I love the snow as long as I don't have to drive in it! :)
DeleteCute calves! And I love the look of your freshly fallen snow! These photos were just about making me miss living in the snow zone - but then I remembered the "joy" of shovelling, and shook it off. ;)
ReplyDeleteLol, jSarie..I think snow is always better when it is viewed from afar! My brother and sister-in-law moved to Florida last year and they were excited to spend the holidays with us, but even MORE excited to go home to sunny FL. I personally can't wait for the day when I can someday move South ;)
DeleteWow, you really did get a lot of snow! We have been getting oddly warm weather for this time of year. I love the season changes but this is too early for us!
ReplyDeleteHi Anna! Thanks so much for the comment..yes, it seems like a TON of son right now. I love those random warm days that start popping up here and there, although I think we still have a good solid month left of winter before that starts happening. I hope you enjoy your warmer weather, but hope it stays cold as well, if it's still too early for you. :)
DeleteHello Farrah Lily,
ReplyDeleteThey are just beautiful. That is a great video you shot.
Big hug,
Giac
