Monster High: Ghoul's Night Out Lagoona

Lagoona is notorious for having wonky eye screenings!

Today's post is just a photo shoot of another one of my Monster High dolls, Ghouls Night Out Doll Lagoona Blue.  I took these photos last spring, with the intent of doing a review, but when you see one MH review, you've seen them all. I won't bore you with the details. :)

Lagoona, as you may know is the daughter of The Sea Monster.  She's a lovely doll from a line called Ghoul's Night Out, which also featured Rochelle and Spectra.  I previously reviewed Spectra here.   Lagoona is one of my favorite characters from this brand, so I like collecting different versions of her.
Her dress is a bit on the skimpy side as it barely covers her sea monster bum in most shots, but overall she's a cute doll.
Not shown are her earrings, purse, cellphone, makeup compact and perfume bottle.  She was originally priced at $19.99.
At some point, I want to do restyled hair photos of all of my MH and EAH dolls, so I'll be sure to include all of her accessories at that time. I just wanted to get this post out of my drafts! ;)

Hope you have a nice day! :)

  1. If there's a monster who deserves to be photographed by a river (creek? pond?), Lagoona is probably it! I'm glad she made it out of the saved drafts and onto the blog. :)

    1. Thanks JS! It's a creek behind our house..great for doll photos, but I have to say, Lagoona took a few nose dives into the water by the time I was done. :)

  2. She's a nice colourful doll to photograph out doors Farrah, she looks really good in the natural light where you live. I love the one of her sitting on a rock with the water in the background....it's almost like a hint of water although I know it's real, love it! But being the daughter of a sea monster I guess she's at home anywhere where there's water flowing.

    1. Thanks, Sharon! :) It was a nice overcast day so I find that is the best lighting for photos! She went swimming a few times (by accident) :)

  3. Hi Farrah,
Well I must say, she's a very colourful girl, and you chose a lovely setting to take her photos, it suits a creature of the water.

    1. Hi Giac,
I agree..I find that these older ones are a bit nicer than some of the newer MH dolls that have been coming out.
      Hugs back :)

  6. She really does look at home in that watery environment. Great pictures of her.

  7. This is one of my favourite Lagoona dolls, I love the colours of her outfit and the hot pink of her lips. I also have Black Carpet Lagoona, but she's still in the box.
I like doing doll reviews because it helps me pay more attention to the details on the doll, and also I like to speak about my personal experience with that particular doll.

    Cheers

    1. Hi monstercrafts,
I totally agree!! I also have Black Carpet Lagoona and really like her as well. This Lagoona looks a little sweeter to me, I think. Unfortunately, my BC Lagoona has super greasy glue hair so I have to try to figure out how to fix that!
      Cheers to you ;)

  8. Her face is cute! It's kind of good to know that certain EAH characters are not the only ones with the perpetually wonky eyes.
